Dear Mr. Das,
I would like to personally advise you to take a look at my policy statements. As a press secretary I know how to listen to people at respond to their inquiries. This has brought be to realize that a handful of the questions I have been asked are related to the prices of healthcare. More specifically, how healthcare pieces are far too high. Because of this I would like to decrease the prices of healthcare to a reasonable amount. Patients are paying thousands for a treatment that should only cost hundreds and according to Maura Hohman from today.com, “The most salient reason is that U.S. health care is based on a "for-profit insurance system," one of the only ones in the world, according to Carmen Balber, executive director of Consumer Watchdog, who's advocated for reform in the health-insurance market. In the U.S., most health insurance is administered by private companies and individuals must pay for it themselves, even if their employer subsidizes some of it. In contrast, ‘lots of other countries have some element of private something, but there is that baseline understanding that health care is a right, not a privilege,’ Balber said.” Not only this but these prices are causing citizens to go bankrupt with a single medical bill. These conditions are not suited for a country, people should not fear getting medical attention if they need it. The best way to better the lives of our citizens is to decrease the prices of healthcare. I would be honored if you would consider my policy statement.
Sincerely,
Comrade Aarvin Grewal,

To Mr. Das,
Withdrawal from Afghanistan
The US has been in Afghanistan for over 20 years now. The primary cause of the war was the attack on 9/11 committed by Osama Bin-Laden. The current situation in Afghanistan now is bin Laden is dead, and many terror collections if Afghanistan have been stomped out. However, the threat of terror groups forming again, as well as the continued threat of the Taliban, kept the US in Afghanistan. The current US response to put an end to the Afghanistan War is to withdraw all troops. This was initially proposed by Obama, but has not yet been implemented. The money we have spent and continue to spend on keeping troops there, the suffering that not only the innocent people in Afghanistan, but also our troops have endured, and the fact that we have accomplished next to nothing since the death of Bin Laden are just a few reasons why the United states should take our people out of there. The withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan is a good idea, but it must be done in timely manner that prevents the Taliban or other terror groups from immediately taking control of Afghanistan after withdrawal. While we don’t have to start completely ignoring Afghanistan and the issues within it, having so much of our force there is a bad idea and we should really begin considering whether it is worth it to be there.

To Mr. Das,
Pivot to the Indo-Pacific
We should enhance diplomatic resources within Southeast Asia because of the area's growing wealth and economic development, and to combat Chinas growing influence on the region. In order to help ensure that a singular government power does not have an economic monopoly control over the region. In order to do this, we should work with emerging Powers, strengthen us allies, expand trade and investment, Advocate democracy, advocate human rights, rebalance military resources within the area, Champion a positive regional trade agenda, and increase world focus on South Asia as a whole instead of just China. By implementing this policy, the potential for hard power conflict will be increased, as will the pressure on smaller nations to align with larger ones, rather than with each other, and when advocating for human rights, enforcement of that may be challenged, but in working with emerging powers there is more recognition of the value of a regional dimension. It would also create stronger economic ties and emphasize US power within and around Asia. Now these policies would be carried out by the legislative and executive branch. In conclusion South-east Asia is a booming area of economic development, and we have a duty to limit Chinas influence on the region.

To Mr. Das,
Universal Healthcare
The topic of universal healthcare in the US is a very controversial issue, and there is much speculation on what is to be done on this topic. As there was no unequivocal statement written in the US Constitution that states whether or not a right to healthcare is required, many debates have taken place in order to determine if universal healthcare should be written into law. The government has tried to take effective actions in order to solve this problem, and these actions can mostly be seen in legislation. For example, in 1956, the Military Medicare Program that would provide government health insurance to those in armed services was implemented, in 1965, the Medicare and Medicaid programs that would provide healthcare for the elderly and poor were signed into law, and in 2010, the series of laws that included the Patient Protection Act and the Affordable Care Act, more commonly known as “Obamacare,” was passed. Nonetheless, even with these steps taken by government, there are still many issues within the US healthcare system, and as such many policies and solutions have been proposed in regards to healthcare. One such policy is that residents in the US must be provided with government funded healthcare free of charge, or, universal healthcare. Although many people argue that universal healthcare would not be effective and will increase taxes, the benefits of universal healthcare outweigh the disadvantages, and as such a universal healthcare system in the US should be implemented on a federal level because economic productivity would increase, the cost of healthcare would decrease, and a right to healthcare could save many lives.

Hello Mr. Das,
My name is Tyson House. I am sending you this letter to advise you of a policy relating to the hong kong protests. In the year 2019, hundreds of thousands of people gathered in the streets of hong kong to protest a new law, banning certain activists and politicians from serving, which directly undermined the autonomy of hong kong, which they were supposed to have for 50 years after 1984. Since then, The PRC( People’s Republic of China) has cracked down on protesters, banning protests and arresting protesters. Protesters are fleeing the country, seeking help from other countries. The UK has already extended a helping hand to these people, and so has taiwan. The United states should follow suit and also extend a helping hand. All these people did was to exercise their right to protest, and they have not done anything wrong. We should allow them to enter the country.
Sincerely, Tyson House
